10 April 08. It's the "what on earth are we doing?" stage

Good Grief, there's so much still to do, with so little time.On the plus(?) side, the furniture's now gone into storage, so for the next 10 days or so we're breaking in our airbeds and camping table and chairs etc. Actually, it's sort of a good thing doing it this way, 'cos we're road-testing (ok, house-testing) a fair bit of our kit before we set off, which we would strongly recommend people to do, having ourselves found out that the compressor we'd thought would blow up our airbeds nicely, didn't actually have the right size valve to fit the airbed air intake .... better to have discovered that in our garage at 7pm one night, rather than on a Netherlands campsite (do they have them?) in the wee hours of the morning, after having got lost, struggled to remember how to put the tent up, lost the car keys twice ...
